Akita is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan, and is known to be one of the most beautiful prefectures too. It is located somewhere in the Tohoku region of Japan. Till the year 600, Akita was known to be quite separated and away from the workings of main Japan. There was not much involvement of Akita in the commerce, politics, trade etc. of the country. It mainly comprised of certain specific nomadic tribes, and thus, was very limited in its scope and function. It was like a small different world in itself.

Mountains are considered to be one of the most magical out of all nature’s delights. They have a unique and rare charm to them that combine beauty with adventure. It is a small mountain group which is actually a part of the Torres del Paine National Park, which is located in the Chilean Patagonia. There are as such no accurate surveys that have been carried out in this region, and for those that have been carried out have not been published. Thus, there is not much information on the elevations, though most of them are known to be naturally suppressed over the years.

This house was closed for a long period of time but it has been opened for public view and visits since 2006. It is now owned by the government of the state and is maintained by the same as well.

The Great Barrier Reef, listed on the world heritage site in 1981, is the largest reef in the world.[adsense] It is a single structure with many living structures. This coral reef is parallel to the Australia for almost 2000km. It consists of 400 types of coral, 1,500 species of fish , 4,000 types of mollusks, sponges, worms, crustaceans, 800 species of echinoderms (starfish, sea urchins) and 215 bird species, of which 29 are seabirds. Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is 345,000 km2, also larger than the whole area of the UK and Ireland.
